*mumbles*

The Wasted Land... the first poem... two verses for each sapphire... The first verse is: Here is the man with three staves...

*once again, collapses*

Hey, I have a sapphire in my hand and I know what to do with it!

Basically, we need to place our three sapphires on top of a garlic tree and poke them with irons ("the thrilling wire in the blood" says the ancient), while chanting the first poem of the Wasted Land trilogy, two verses for each sapphire.

I'll start.

Here is the man with three staves
Who sent all his wives to their graves

No!  It cannot be!  The three avatars hold the sapphires!  All my struggle is for naught!  Noooooo!

*hands held up as if to ward off the sudden brightness that issues from the gems in their new hands as the words are spoken, face aghast at this incredible stroke of luck (or fate (or narrative fiat ;P)), he stumbles backwards, only to find his footing suddenly vanish as the obligatory dark-cored pit turns out to be behind him.  For a moment he teeters on one foot, struggling to regain his balance, until finally that foot too slips down, and he tumbles for seeming ages, eventually dropping out of sight...

It is over.

Or is it?

Deep within the well a tiny starburst flares, as of a teleportation spell being cast...*

(My apologies for the sudden end, but I'm afraid that I'm going to be away for a few days - I doubt that I'll be back before Monday - so I thought that I should bring this to some sort of close. ^^;

Please do finish the final lines of the spell that Krss has started, however - I'd like to see it entire. ^_^

Consider this to be the post after those two. ^^; )

Yes... we did it... Thaumaturge's Avatar is banished, for now, at least...

We can all rest, now...

I didn't read too deep into the actual poem's history, but it sounds like we sent his avatar to London... heh.

:cheer: Apparently all that's needed is to botch a real poem.

CX is free again!

But for how long?

I shall bide my time - oh yes, I can wait...  Your prophecy is fulfilled - but what then will you do next time...?  >; p

Well, it's probably better than some of the places that evil beings sometimes end up when banished, I imagine.

I've really missed how all conversations in these forums steadily turn into a subtle mix of RPing and spam.
