I'm curious about the favourite games those of us anticipating Grey Matter. So do tell! I'm something of an adventure/puzzle game geek myself - my top picks would be the Gabriel Knight series, the Myst series, the 7th Guest series, Zork: Nemesis and Still Life - and then I'm also very fond of Neverwinter Nights, the Thief series and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Anyone's favourites coincide with my own?

My favourites are the GK games and all the sierra games (except for quest for glory) and lucas arts adventures. I allmost only play adventures, the only non-adventures I play is silent hill and soccer games.

Marion - I recently acquired the last three Silent Hill games and Final Fantasy VIII, so I'll soon get around to those. I've played The Seven Noble Kinsmen, too, which was fun. Gijs - Sierra classics are great! Why not QfG, though? Because of the combat?

Yes, I didn't like the combat but that normaly doesn't keep me from playing, but with qfg I just never had a clue what I was doing or suposed to do. I recently tried the first one again, and I was walking around the town and went into a bar, ordered a glass of troll's sweat and the next thing I know I'm on the street without money! And then I walk around again..

@ Gijs. Gabriel Knight of course! And adventure games in general-- most recently Syberia. I played a lot of the old Sierra games, and I loved the QfG game you sent me, Tsolaelia. I also liked Black Mirror. By the way, repeat with me: GrAy Matter.

Black mirror, very nice game. But those voice actors made me want to hurt someone.

And the plot twist was hardly surprising.

I definitely agree with that. It was painfully obvious, and I kept hoping and hoping it wouldn't be that.. but it was.

Black Mirror> i never finished that game.. >_> it's still on my to-play list. had nice graphics, though.. Syberia> the first one bored me to tears.. :/ it has a kind of.. melancholic mood. but many people liked it.. (Edited by r at 9:40 pm on Sep. 9, 2006)

Was just reading a review about sybreria, I think I'll let this one slip through my fingers. I don't know why cause the reviewer was loving it.

For some reason I found Syberia very touching instead of boring. It's a very original kind of game..

I don't like the main characters name, Kate Walker. Allright the whole game is finished we only need to give her a name, any sugestions? What about Kate Walker? I have the same problem with Jack Bauer.

Why isn't Kate Walker a good name for you?

It's just too simple. I like something like George Costanza. Whoops, didn't see your post, Bauer is from 24. (Edited by Gijs at 12:15 am on Sep. 10, 2006)

And the robot wasn't a retard, but he was pretty annoying, because he was the cause of most of the puzzles.
